This concert was pretty damn amazing! I’m not disappointed they played the same songs as usual, but they could’ve made her wear more cute outfits. The live from the day before wasn’t too impressive (I blame the band), but at least it had this gorgeous part with angelic Miku. Fortunately, The 39’s were back for the Thanksgiving concert and they sounded absolutely fantastic with that instrumental accompaniment. I still adore Orita Shin, the drummer. The whole Internet seems to be convinced that Tanaka Shingo = wowaka, but afaik that’s not true, unless he gets a plastic surgery on a daily basis…? Anyway, my favourite song was definitely “Uraomote Lovers”, they did it RIGHT for once, with the rapid dance moves and badass music. I hope they’ll upload it on YT soon (inb4 everything gets deleted before I finish writing this post).
I hope SEGA will continue doing concerts, maybe under a different name or something. Miku’s popularity is pretty astounding after all, the hall was FULL and some people were willing to actually pay 40$ (?!?!?!) for streaming both concerts, holy shit. Not to mention the quadruple encore… there’s still a room for improvement when it comes to Miku’s model too, the lip sync for example. At least her movements are fluid enough, imho.
