(In no particular order)
1—(Tokyo) “I won’t let you die” is as close to a confession of love Kurogane gives.
2—(Outo) I like to think of this as the scene where Kurogane actually starts to take
romantic/sexualinterest in Fai.3—(Celes) What more does he have to do to prove he loves you!?
4—(Nihon) This is as close to a confession of reciprocating love Fai gets.
5—(Series End) A small scene that shows how much they’ve grown as characters \;A;/
6—(Clow) The way they battle and banter with each other in the final battle…it’s like they’ve become an old married couple.
Here’s another thing I noticed.
At first while reading this, you might think, ‘maybe Kurogane’s just an eerily morbid person when it comes to death. He does seem to have a rampant bloodlust and unhealthy obsession with killing things.’ However, he doesn’t look as serious as he does depressed. Even Syaoran notices something’s up.
100+ chapters later, you realize, holy shit, that’s how his father died.
